Helen Akner Sassower's Family Tree Diary
her mother Celia was a Sassower who became an Akner when she married Yehiel,
& she was an Akner who became a Sassower, when she married Louis,
the son of Celia's 1/2 brother, Shraga Feivish -- from the same father, Joseph Ezra Sassower. 
Celia was from his first wife, Henya Finkel, who died 3 weeks after she was born. 
His second wife was Sura Rosen, and they had children, two of whom,
Shraga Feivish & Baila, came to America.
Celia was thus not only Louis' mother-in-law, but his 1/2 aunt
& Shraga Feivish was not only Helen's father-in-law, but her 1/2 uncle --
because Helen and Louis were 1/2 first cousins.

 married Freyda Shapiro -- & they had 3 children, Louis, Rose, & Esther. 
After Freyda died, he married Chava Witlin -- & had 8 children: Ida, Joe, Maryam Merril (died),
Minnie, Iffy, Danny (disappeared), Sylvia, Heshie

Baila, the third child of Joseph Ezra Sassower,
married Sam Rabinowitz -- & they had four children: Eva, Joe, Lou, Harry
